SEXYBLACKS RANDOM ACTS PLAYLIST BREAKDOWN
Farewell My Summer Love by Michael Jackson -- It's been a year without Michael, and it's the first day of Summer. I always loved this song. It really captures the tender feeling of young love.
Never Can Say Goodbye by The Jackson Five -- Still can't say goodbye to Michael. Classic.
Camouflage by Brandy -- Brandy recently admitted to not being focussed on her last album, Human. She is right. That album wasn't the greatest, but this song did stand out.
The Morning Papers by Prince -- One of my all time FAVORITE Prince songs. Lyrically amazing: "Should we ask the moonlight on your face, or the raindrops in your hair? Or should we ask the man who wrote it there in The Morning Papers?" Amazing guitar solo, as usual.
Faster by Janelle Monae -- This album (Archandroid) is one of the best of the year by far. It is SO Creative!!!! For those who are curious, here's a sampling. By far not the best track, but it gives a good impression of what the rest of the album is. Janelle is a superstar.
This Is Us by Keyshia Cole -- This is just a good song.
Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart by Alicia Keys -- One of my favorite songs of last year. The other was Maxwell's Pretty Wings. These two songs stood out as the most memorable of 2009.
She Wants Me by Dru Hill -- This song reminds of How Deep. A little sample of the upcoming InDruPendence Day.
Take It From Here by Justin Timberlake -- Another classic joint from his classic Justified release.

SEXYBLACK CONCERT: DRU HILL LIVE
During their renaissance, Dru Hill made a quick stop in Toronto. Unfortunately, Jazz missed his flight, but Tao, Sisqo, and Nokio rocked it anyway. They didn't do "Back To The Future" or any new songs really, but they did put on a decent performance with choreo and some better than expected vocals. They also treated us to an old school set that included their rendition of Jodeci's "Forever My Lady" and Mint Condition's "Pretty Brown Eyes". Check the videos below.

Guess What I'm Listening To RIGHT NOW!!!?...
Special thanks to my girlfriend, Yugi, for this. I'll let you know how it is. If people leave comments and want to hear it bad enough (who knows, it could just be me), I will stream the finer points of the album through SEXYBLACK'S RANDOM ACTS.
UPDATE: This is a SOLID album. These guys still sound so AMAZING. The album starts very strong and stays that way until the last two tracks (something crazy happens there). Still this album is a welcome entry into the top 10 of the year so far (it is a better listen than Usher.) There are a few Dru Hill classics. Mainly BACK TO THE FUTURE (this song is tied with Usher's "There Goes My Baby" for Song of the year so far). And Dru Hill have RE-MADE, and MADE BETTER Tears For Fears "Everybody Wants To Rule The World". If these two songs get the single treatment, DRU HILL is inevitably BACK!!! Let's see what happens. InDruPendence Day is slated for release at the end of May. Stay tuned.

The Resurrection will be Televised: Dru Hill's 1st Live Performance in Seven Years
...performing an AMAZING new song off InDRUpendence Day hitting stores in June. Ladies and Gentlemen, I am excited to be one of the first to bring you, "Back To The Future".

SEXYBLACK stands corrected: DRU HILL survives!
About a month ago, after seeing a disturbing image of one of my ex-singing-heroes, Sisqo, I declared Dru Hill dead. I, thankfully, was mistaken.
Ladies and Gentleman, Dru Hill's new single Love MD has been picked up by American radio, and now... finally, we have a NEW DRU HILL video. The video contains elements that are literally ripped from today's headlines. The song is alright, they still got a ways to go to get back to how they were on the first two albums, but it'll do for now.
They have signed with Kedar Entertainment. Kedar is an ex-Motown President, who has practically done the impossible. He is single-handedly responsible for resurrecting the careers of Joe and Ginuwine over the last year and a half. Both of those artists have had incredible success, releasing three albums independently between them, wrangling over 3 top 10 R&B hits. Hopefully with proper management, and some decent writing, production, and vocals, Dru Hill can experience the resurrection that they deserve... I present to you... Love M.D.... leave some comments to let me know how you feel about it.
