Lupe Fiasco Calls Out The Record Industry

For those who don't understand how the Record Industry Model is broken down and rotten to its core, Lupe breaks down how far it goes.  This is why we have to find ways to support our favorite artists, and they have to find ways to get the music to us... somehow.  Downloading is cool in my books, as long as, when you come across something that you feel is a CLASSIC, you put the money out to support the artist, whether it's on iTunes or going to the store and copping the CD.  Now everybody go out and by the new Bruno Mars album.  Maroon 5 doesn't need the money as they have full industry backing, but it's good, so go get that one too.

In the very end, when the dust settles, it's going to be up to us to save our favorite artists.

Perfect example, I just watched Jon B.'s new music video.  It looks like he paid for it himself, but the song is great, so anywhere he puts his new record out, I'm going to get it.
And stop listening to radio until they start diversifying their playlists so we don't hear the same Black Eyed Peas songs 17 times a day, while we wonder where the real music is.  IF you shut it off, they will be forced to change it.

That's just SEXYBLACK's two cents.

P.S.  Will.I.Am can suck it.  You used to be so cool, man.  Now, you have just CHECKED OUT.
